
Definitions
The Client: The individual or group receiving services and named on the booking form.
The Artist: Lupita (Lupita’s Makeup Artistry).
The Agreement: The contract between The Client and The Artist for the agreed services.
The Fee: The total amount payable by The Client for services provided.
The Event: The date on which services are performed.
Additional Clients: Any additional individuals receiving services under the same booking.
Agreement
This agreement is a contract between The Client and Lupita’s Makeup Artistry for makeup and/or hair styling services. By completing the booking form and paying the required deposit, The Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
Deposit & Booking
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings (all services included) and confirm your date. No date is reserved without receipt of the deposit. Only digital payments are accepted for booking confirmation.
Trials / Consultations
Wedding Makeup Trials
A wedding makeup trial is scheduled at a mutually convenient time, typically 4–6 weeks prior to the event date (adjustable if needed). Each trial lasts up to 90 minutes. If additional time is required, a second trial may be booked at an additional cost.
Trial dates may be adjusted to accommodate bookings and are subject to change due to illness or unforeseen circumstances affecting either party.
Wedding Hair Trials

General Trial Terms (Applies to All Trials)
The Client must inform The Artist of any allergies, medical conditions, or skin sensitivities prior to the appointment.
During the trial, the agreed look will be photographed for reference and documented, including products used. These images will not be shared publicly prior to the event date.
The Artist reserves the right to refuse service if any contraindications or safety concerns arise.
The Artist may cancel a booking within 24 hours after the trial with a full refund of the deposit, minus the trial fee, if the working relationship is deemed unsuitable.
Service Day
The Artist will arrive at the agreed time and location fully equipped with professional lighting, tables, and chairs. A clear, suitable space must be provided for setup.
The Artist may take photographs of completed work for portfolio and social media use.
Travel & Additional Costs
A travel fee of $1.00 per mile applies to all bookings.
Any additional costs such as parking, tolls, or travel-related fees are the responsibility of The Client.
Where applicable, travel requiring flights or accommodation will be discussed and covered by The Client.
Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings (all services included) and confirm your date.
The remaining balance is due by the service date. Payments may be completed in advance or on the day of service.
Any additional services requested on the day must be paid in full on the same day.
Accepted payment methods include PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, checks, and cash. Please note that only digital payments are accepted for booking confirmation.
Cancellations & Refunds
The Client may cancel the booking at any time in writing. The deposit is strictly non-refundable as it secures the reserved date.
Lupita’s Makeup Artistry is not obligated to refund any payments made prior to cancellation. No further payments will be required after cancellation.
Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances
In the unlikely event The Artist is unable to attend due to illness, accident, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, every effort will be made to secure a suitable replacement. If this is not possible, a full refund will be issued minus the deposit.
No additional compensation will be provided for circumstances beyond The Artist’s control. It is strongly recommended that The Client obtain event insurance.
Health & Safety
The Client is responsible for disclosing any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to service.
Trials may include testing of products to assess compatibility. The Client accepts responsibility for any reactions and agrees to inform The Artist immediately of any concerns.
The Artist reserves the right to refuse service if products are deemed unsuitable or unsafe based on disclosed information.
Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward The Artist will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
For safety reasons, smoking is not permitted during services, and The Client is asked to avoid eating or using mobile devices during application.
It is recommended that contact lenses be applied prior to makeup application.
Final Agreement
By submitting a booking and paying the deposit, The Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
